The Town of Vinton Treasurer offers Citizen Self Service as a convenient method of viewing current Real Estate information and paying Personal Property and Real Estate Taxes online.

Every effort is made to assure accurate information is presented. However, the information accessed through this service does not constitute a legal document. Any discrepancies should be reported to the treasurer’s office utilizing the Contact Us tab under the Personal Property or Real Estate modules. The Town of Vinton disclaims any responsibility or liability for any damages resulting from the use of this data.

Personal Property and Real Estate Tax payments details:

  • If paying with VISA, MasterCard, or Discover, a convenience fee of 2.7% of the amount paid will be added and collected by the payment processing company.
  • If paying with VISA Debit Card, a fixed fee of $4.35 will be added to the transaction.
  • If paying with an E-check, a fixed fee of $1.38 will be added to the transaction.
  • Partial payments may be made by adjusting the 'Payment Amount' of a selected bill after you proceed to Shopping Cart Checkout.
  • Verification and acceptance of the convenience fee will be presented at the Paymentus Corporation secure web pay site prior to completion of the transaction.
  • Taxpayers are responsible for ensuring that payments are made in time to meet required deadlines. Online payments must be completed prior to midnight EST on the due date to avoid penalties or interest.
  • You should print and retain the Successful Payment Receipt for your records.
  • Failure of a transaction to complete or of a taxpayer to understand any information provided herein will not constitute grounds for waiver of any penalties or interest due to late payments.
  • Payments made through Citizen Self Service may not be reflected on this site until the end of the following business day.
